IN THIS LESSON
Flora makes us all feel a certain type of way
They create an intimate connection with our human world by creating and cleansing the air we breathe.
They give us insight to patterns of intricate colors weaving through soft petals.
They blend soothing sounds of leaves fanning in the wind.
They produce tasty nutrients that ooze through their pores.
Rhythm of Flora
All flora operate at an energetic, vibrational level beyond just their gorgeous physical forms. Infusing with their frequencies can be deliciously therapeutic.
They synchronize with recurring rhythms of nature, for example, flowers like Morning Glories open and close with the daily night/day cycle.
Deciduous trees shed leaves in harmony with the annual fall, winter, spring cycle.
Flora can serve as recipies to realign our own biorhythms with the rhythms and cycles of nature we are intrinsically part of.
Flora + Chakras
Blending into the vibrational frequencies of flora, our chakras can align and be open to greater harmony within ourselves.
The Root Chakra connects us to Mother Earth, and plant roots symbolize the grounding life force energy.
The Sacral Chakra governs creativity and sexuality - the sensual beauty of flowers relates to this center of pleasure and reproduction.
The Solar Plexus Chakra represents our ability to metabolize plant nutrients and life-giving sunlight into vital energy. Mixing together the energect fuel of flora allows us to form our own form of photosythesis.
The Heart Chakra opens us to love, compassion, and interconnection which the natural world of flora reflects.
The Throat Chakra allows expression of herbal knowledge passed down over generations.
The Third Eye's spiritual vision can be enhanced by plant medicines expanding awareness (under a doctor's supervision).
The Crown Chakra links us to the divine consciousness flowing through all of nature's flora.
Flora + Chakras Interlaced
Flora also hold different color, shapes and spiritual properties that resonate with different energies of each Chakra.
Not one type of flora is specific to one Chakra. Different flora can make up the recipe of energetic life. For example, while carrots are a root vegetable, they are orange. So they could relate to both the Root and Sacral Chakra energies. Heart-shaped flowers harmonize with the Heart Chakra, but their color, might be red, which resonates with the Root Chakra.
It's important that you recognize that not just one flora aligns with your energy. There can be multiple combinations from which you find satsifies your vibrational energy.
Be One with the Flora
Create an indoor herbal garden or surround yourself with potted plants to connectwith the grounding energies of the Root Chakra.
Keep fresh, vibrant flowers like roses in your environment to stimulate and balance the Sacral Chakra's creative and sensual energies.
Eat meals rich in plant foods like fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds to nourish the Solar Plexus Chakra's metabolic fire.
Spend time outdoors among trees and gardens to open your Heart Chakra and cultivate feelings of love, peace and oneness with nature.
Drink your favorite beverage or hot tea to clear energy and express your authentic self through the Throat Chakra.
Use plant essences, oils or tinctures to enhance intuition and expand awareness related to the Third Eye Chakra.
Gardening or simply sitting among greenery can help attune with the divine consciousness flowing through flora and align with the Crown Chakra.
Be Harmonious
