Back Where It Started

Last night I was sitting with my iPad, working on new floral digital art for Chakramation. Thinking what I always think when the to-do list feels long: *I have a lot to do. But every day is growth.*

And then it hit me.

Six years ago—almost to the week—I was sitting in my living room, drawing flora. Just me, a sketchpad, and this random idea that maybe, if someone was scrolling online during a pandemic and feeling overwhelmed, a beautiful piece of flora could help calm their nerves. That was it. That was the whole idea.

That idea became Chakramation.

Full Circle, Still Growing

There’s something almost cathartic about being back in that same creative space. Different tools, bigger vision, same energy. Still drawing flora. Still believing they can do something meaningful for someone’s day.

The excited-and-anxious combo is real. I want these illustrations done *now* so I can build them into new content for you. But I’m also practicing what I preach—calming myself in the knowing that it won’t take forever. The work is happening. The content is coming. And everything is always on time.

The Granular Meditation in This

Growth doesn’t always look like forward motion. Sometimes it looks like circling back to where you started and realizing how far you’ve come. That’s not repetition—that’s a spiral. And spirals move upward.

If you’re in a season where the work feels endless and the finish line feels far, here’s your grain for today:

*You’ve done this before. Maybe not this exact thing—but you’ve started from an idea and turned it into something real. You already know how this goes.*

The Affirmation

*Everything is always on time—including me.*

New flora. New content. Coming to you by end of year. And I can’t wait to share it all.

Authenticity activated, is what wins.

*— Joy*
